Challenge

Introduce Canada to the new cell phone provider in town: Koodo.

Strategy

Smak proposed that Koodo flood the streets of Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal with over 100 aerobics-clad, collateral-armed brand ambassadors in a flash mob style. The aerobics theme that smak brought to life aligned with Koodo’s retro 80’s creative that was already in-market at that time (developed by their creative agency, TAXI).

Results

The Koodo flash mob teams distributed 40,000 pieces of collateral while thousands of spectators were visually stimulated during their daily routine in all three cities.
